앱에 직접 입력하거나 초대 응답에서 추가한 생일·태어난 시간·인물 정보는 휴대폰 안의 앱 데이터베이스에 있어요. 계산도 전부 폰 안에서 해요.

"친구한테 생일 알려주기"로 내 정보를 직접 보내면 선택한 메시지 앱이나 클립보드를 쓰고 우리 서버는 거치지 않아요. "친구한테 생년월일 요청하기"로 보낸 입력 페이지에 적은 호칭·생년월일·시간은 중계 서버를 거쳐 전달되며, 수신 확인 즉시 또는 최대 7일 뒤 삭제돼요.

서버에 더 오래 남을 수 있는 것은 직접 만든 공유 링크의 결과값(생일은 안 담겨요)과 직접 켠 앱 이용 통계예요. 자세한 내용은 개인정보 처리방침에 있어요.

앱 1.0.2 빌드 30부터 자동 백업이 기본으로 켜져 있고, 온보딩 뒤 하루 첫 실행 때 앱 안에 저장돼요. 최근 7개를 보관하지만 앱을 열지 않는 날에는 만들지 않아 사본이 7일보다 오래 남을 수 있어요. 앱 안의 설정 → 데이터 → 자동 백업에서 날짜별 사본을 복원하거나 선택한 사본을 파일로 내보낼 수 있어요.

iPhone에서는 기기 설정에 따라 자동 사본이 iCloud 또는 Finder의 전체 백업에 포함될 수 있어요. 이는 앱이 데이터를 클라우드 동기화한다는 뜻은 아니에요. Android에서는 시스템 백업·기기 이전에서 제외돼요. 기기 간 이동에는 예전 기기에서 설정 → 데이터 → 백업 파일 내보내기, 새 기기 첫 화면 아래의 "기기를 바꿨나요? 백업 파일에서 복원하기"를 이용해 주세요.

인물이나 기록을 지워도 이전 자동 백업에는 남아 있을 수 있어요. 사본을 지우려면 설정 → 데이터 → 자동 백업 모두 삭제를 누르거나 자동 백업을 꺼 주세요. 앱을 지우면 앱 안의 사본도 사라지지만, 내보낸 파일과 운영체제 전체 백업은 따로 관리해야 해요. 백업에는 다른 사람의 생일도 있으니 공유하지 마세요.

설정 → 내 공유 링크에서 휴지통을 누르면 돼요. 그 즉시 열리지 않게 되고, 7일 뒤 서버에서 완전히 지워져요.

지우지 않아도 마지막 열람 후 180일이 지나면 저절로 사라져요. 앱을 먼저 지우면 링크는 남으니, 앱을 지우기 전에 링크부터 삭제해 주세요.

친구가 초대 링크로 보낸 응답은 바로 저장되지 않고 홈의 "확인할 친구 응답"에 모여요. 아는 사람이면 추가, 아니면 무시를 누르세요. 모르는 사람이 보냈거나 불쾌한 응답은 신고를 누르면 폰에서 지워지고 우리에게 보낼 메일이 열려요.

링크가 원치 않는 곳에 퍼졌다면 홈 → "+"(친구 추가하기) → "새 링크 만들기"를 누르세요. 이전 링크는 바로 닫혀 더 이상 정보를 보낼 수 없어요(인터넷 연결이 없을 때는 이 폰에서 먼저 닫히고, 다음에 인터넷이 연결된 상태로 앱을 열 때 서버에서도 닫혀요). 그 링크로 보냈지만 아직 전달되지 않은 사본은 함께 지우고, 남은 사본도 늦어도 7일 뒤 자동 삭제돼요.

알림 — "홈" 탭의 마지막 구역에서 "오늘의 알림" 스위치로 끄면 돼요. 알림은 전부 폰 안에서 예약되고, 서버에서 보내는 푸시는 없어요.

위치 — 설정 → 오늘의 시간대 → "시간대에 현재 위치 반영"을 끄면 돼요. 켜져 있어도 위치는 폰 안에서만 쓰고 외부로 보내거나 기록하지 않아요. 기기의 앱 설정에서 권한 자체를 바꿀 수도 있어요.

설정 → 데이터 → "앱 개선용 이용 통계 보내기"를 끄면 돼요. 처음 실행 화면의 같은 스위치는 기본으로 꺼져 있고, 직접 켜도 온보딩을 마치기 전에는 아무것도 보내지 않아요.

보내는 것은 화면 이름과 머문 시간, 정해둔 행동 이름, 인원·모임 수의 구간값, 기기 종류·OS 버전·글자 크기예요. 생일·이름·인물 정보·점수는 보내지 않아요. 항목과 보관 기간은 처리방침 6항에 전부 적어 두었어요.

네. 설정 → 데이터 → "보낸 이용 통계 삭제 요청"을 누르면 이 설치의 통계 기록이 서버에서 약 2일 안에 지워져요. 이용 통계가 켜져 있든 꺼져 있든 누를 수 있고, 눌러도 통계가 다시 켜지진 않아요.

Birthdays, birth times and people you enter in the app or add from an invitation reply are stored in the app's database on your phone. Every reading is computed on the device.

Sending your saved details directly uses your chosen messaging app or clipboard and bypasses our server. A label, birth date and time entered on an invitation page pass through our relay and are deleted on acknowledgement or after at most 7 days.

What can remain longer is the result data inside share links you create (no birthday is included) and app usage statistics you explicitly enable. The details are in the privacy policy.

Automatic backup is on by default from app 1.0.2, build 30. After setup, a copy is saved inside the app on the first launch each day. The app keeps the latest seven, but makes none on days you do not open it, so copies can remain for more than seven days. In Settings → Data → Automatic backup, you can restore a dated copy or export a selected copy to a file.

On iPhone, automatic copies may be included in an iCloud or Finder device backup, depending on your settings. This is not app cloud synchronization. Android excludes app data from system backup and device transfer. To move data yourself, on the old phone use Settings → Data → Export backup file; on the new phone use "New phone? Restore from a backup file" at the bottom of the first screen.

Deleting a person or record may leave it in earlier automatic backups. Choose Settings → Data → Delete all automatic backups or turn automatic backup off to delete the app's copies. Deleting the app removes its internal copies, but exported files and operating-system backups must be managed separately. Backups contain other people's birthdays, so do not share them.

Tap the trash icon in Settings → My share links. The link stops opening immediately and is fully removed from the server 7 days later.

Even if you never delete it, a link disappears 180 days after it was last opened. Deleting the app leaves the links alive, so delete the links before you remove the app.

Replies sent through your invitation link are not saved right away; they wait under "Friend replies to review" on Home. Tap Add for people you know and Ignore for the rest. Report deletes an unwanted reply from your phone and opens an email to us.

If your link spread somewhere you did not intend, tap Home → "+" (Add a friend) → "Make a new link". The old link closes right away and can no longer send details (if you are offline, it closes on your phone first and on our server the next time you open the app online). Any server copy sent through it that had not been delivered yet is deleted with it; anything left over is removed automatically within 7 days at the latest.

Notifications — use the "Daily notification" switch in the last section of the "Home" tab. Every notification is scheduled on the phone; there is no push from a server.

Location — turn off Settings → Today's time periods → "Use current location for time periods". Even while it is on, the location is used only on the phone and is never sent out or recorded. You can also change the permission itself in your device's app settings.

Turn off Settings → Data → "Send app-improvement usage stats". The same switch is off by default on the first-run screen, and nothing is sent before you finish onboarding even if you turn it on.

What is sent amounts to screen names and time spent, fixed action names, bucketed people and group counts, and device type, OS version and text size. Birthdays, names, person details and scores are never sent. Every item and its retention period is listed in section 6 of the privacy policy.

Yes. Tap Settings → Data → "Request deletion of sent usage statistics" and this install's records are removed from the server within about 2 days. You can tap it whether statistics are on or off, and it does not turn them back on.
